ART, NFT AND EXPERIMENTS
How much is your signature worth?
Rene Magritte said "This is not a pipe" and he started the discussion about meaning and [re]presentation. This type of thinking was used by conceptualists (e.g. William Anastasi) and communication theorists.
First I did not sign the paper. Then I scanned it, increased the contrast, marked the lines and made ASCII code. Lastly, I saved it in SVG. This method allows you to use "not my signature" NFT in Metaverse, you can copy a part of ASCII, transform and publish on your website, or you can print it and hang it on your gallery wall. In addition you can also receive documentation and the paper work.

Used the circle model of media:
things = [the Real] + ideas {the Firstness}
/\ || -> writtings/drawings _______<_<_<________ {the Secondness}
| || -> scanning and transformations____<_<_<__|
| ||==============================> 1. meaning = [the Imaginary]
| || -> representation of things [the Thirdness]
| ||================================> 2. meaning = [the Symbolic]
| -> representation + NFT

The Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw was built in 1955 and it was a kind of gift from USSR to fraternal Polish socialistic country.
The building is recognizable and it's clearly visible in many parties of city, but a lot of inhabitants of Warsaw have negative memories of the post-war times in Poland and they want to raze the building to the ground. Many people would like the building to disappear or dissolve into thin air. Many ideas are absurd. One of the Polish politicians prepared a plan to blow up the building, but this operation is impossible due to the amount of dust and pollution in the air.
When I lived in Powiśle [neighbourhood in Warsaw's borough of Śródmieście (Downtown)] I could look at the building every morning. The palace sometimes appeared and sometimes disappeared. I noticed a correlation between the smog in the city and the visibility of the palace. In this way, every few days I took pictures that could be postcards. In this animated work, I drew the Palace of Culture and Science that comes and goes.
On the May 26, 2019 Director of the National Museum in Warsaw, prof. Jerzy Miziołek censored the permanent exhibition of contemporary art. The director removed Natalia LL's work "Consumer Art" because he had a “bad connections” with a woman eating a banana. I found out about it by chance, before the media started talking about the case
It was a natural instinct to grab a banana and organize a individual protest in front of the National Museum in Warsaw. On the first day, I entered the museum and handed out bananas to the receptionists and security staff. They were surprised, but they all said they liked bananas. In the following days, the museum staff divided into two groups. Some people talked willingly and helped themselves to bananas, while others shyly showed me that they had a banana in their backpack or purse. Some said they were going to eat a banana in the center of the hall as an expression of support for protest.
My protest was personal, because Natalia LL is an outstanding artist for me. In addition, we met personally, and when I lived in Wrocław, we were almost neighbours. I was in front of the museum every day for 14 days and used up about 80 kg of bananas. The protest in media and social media has become a huge event attended by thousands of people, and millions around the world have heard about government censorship in the Polish art world. Hundreds of people took selfies with bananas in front of the National Museum, but the photo presented here is the first.
In light of that and following events, the director, prof. Miziołek has decided to terminate his contract and prof. Piotr Gliński, First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage approved that decision.

In 1956, Horace Miner first used the word "Nacirema" in an article "Body Ritual among the Nacirema" in "American Anthropologist".
Poland is a country that has always belonged to the culture of Eastern Europe in terms of mental, identity and ideological aspects, but has stayed with the countries of the West in terms of technology and science.
In 2009, Poland was in between [as always]. The conflicts between new technologies and media [from the West] and the mentality, religious attitude and mindset [from the East] continued to increase. In order to combine the national character with the future and development, it was necessary to convince the society of the technological future and put into question the thinking about the past.
I could only present it with a joke or sarcasm, so I made some kind of altar and this is how the work "The Ikalopi tribe worships their deities - God Koobeton surrounded by Arutaiwalk and Zsym" was created. I used a few spelled backward words: Ikalopi => Polish, Koobeton => Notebook, Arutaiwalk => Keyboard, and Zsym => Mouse. I was inspired by Miner and at the same time wondering about the reverse of the words, the meaning and the giving of a new meaning for forming and perceiving new quality.
The work is an NFT project, consisting of a written history, concept and photo that I took in 2009.
If you buy the NFT work, you can put it in your Metavers, print it and hang it on the wall, or you can create a reconstruction of the altar based on my idea. You will also be able to order a printout if you cover the shipping costs.
