EXTRAS
Creating the newspaper for the Wrocław Contemporary Museum was one of the greatest pleasures of my life. It brought millions of thoughts and a huge dose of knowledge! Back then, everything had a mission!
The mysterious story of finding the woman in the photo after decades! It all happened at theNational Digital Archives. I’m glad I could share this story with the media as a representative of this institution Without social media, the success of this campaign would not have been possible!
If it weren’t for social media, we would never have achieved this success!
The Wrocław audiosphere is a project I’d like to return to in the future. I had the pleasure of meeting dr. Robert Losiak and speaking with him on Polish Radio Wrocław about this fascinating research project! Listen to the conversation!
Some of the most interesting photos I managed to take... The photos of the Polish Prime Minister and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the National Digital Archives are an interesting reminder of times and memories.
I organized a meeting with a former Polish parliamentarian Maria Berny who was describing the Wrocław art scene. I’ll never forget the collection of paintings I saw at her home…
There was a time when I talked about books, and there was a time whenI stopped talking about those books. I kept readingthem. One of my favorite photos related to the book market and awards!
The quarantine in Poland in 2020 wasn’t too severe. When we decided to do awedding photo shoot, it turned out that the topic of same-sex marriage is still incredibly controversial in Poland.
In 2016, Wrocław was the European Capital of Culture. It was a time full of culture for me, too. I collaborated with galleries, artists, and media to create a space for beauty in Wrocław! I miss that year!
When I presented my audiovisual material at the Socato Gallery exhibition, I felt very proud that I had managed to engage someone in the experience of sound. Today, I connect this practice not only with the experience of space but also with the experience of self as a mindfulness process.
The banana became a symbol of freedom of art... The time when Natalia LL was still with us... Today we adore her art
This extraordinary time spent with technology and the Warsaw University of Technology brought dozens of news stories that immersed me in the world of nanotechnology, microcomputers, biology, genetics, and chemistry…
"The Impact of the First World War on the Men's Psychology and Their Role in Society in the Light of Selected Fiction" is the title of an article in which E. Chabros and I considered the themes of war and the theme of masculinity/non-masculinity.
When I managed to combine art and cinema, a series of film discussions was held at the Pan Tadeusz Museum in Wrocław! Several interesting meetings took place, but unfortunately, I didn’t record the conversations.
Innovative management and marketing initiatives are one of the areas I've most frequently worked on in public institutions! These include those related to culture and education, as well as those related to administration and social relations.
I've only worked with the Gdańsk City Gallery for a short time, but the Gdańsk art community is engaging and friendly!
Documentation (excerpt) submitted for the competition for the curatorial design of the exhibition at the Polish Pavilion at the 57th International Art Exhibition in Venice 2017
Artist: Zuzanna Janin
Title: Sands of the Desert
Curator: Kamil Nowelli
As part of the Sands of the Desert project, the Polonia Pavilion will be transformed into a hangar where drone sculptures by Zuzanna Janin, made from car parts, will be placed on white pedestals. Upon entering the Pavilion's shaded vestibule, viewers will be able to see the exhibition name and artist's name displayed on a noticeboard, and download a leaflet informing them of the exhibition concept. The vestibule should be a place that invites the viewer into a state of tranquility.
"Where is Permafo?" was an incredible exhibition for me. It was there that I became better acquainted with Natalia LL and Andrzej Lachowicz, but also with Jerzy Kosałka, who designed the exhibition space. The exhibition was one of the most significant historical events in the Wrocław art world.
The history of the development of the Internet is usually presented as a series of events related to technological progress and computerization. The social history is a story in which the main character becomes the user. This perspective allows for an attempt to answer questions such as: How does the Internet change the world? How do people act online? Are „social media” really social? During Kamil Nowelli’s lecture, selected socio-cultural phenomena will be presented in light of the latest theories and scientific research.
